Abdulla Al-Joaib: Academy of Distinguished Engineers - 2010

After receiving his doctorate in 1994 from OSU, Abdulla Al-Joaib has been expanding the family business, Al-Joaib Construction. Dr. Al-Joaib has established multiple firms including the Engineering Systems & Development Center, an exclusive agent in Saudi Arabia for numerous testing equipment manufacturers. He launched the Geotechnical Testing Centre in 1993, testing construction materials and providing project quality control. In 1997, the Al-Joaib International Corporation was formed to sell and market irrigation, electrical and mechanical devices and home appliances in Saudi Arabia. Under Dr. Al-Joaib’s visionary leadership, his APEX Investment Group has experienced exponential growth leveraging his extensive experience in construction and development.
